Nothing Really To Say

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. There's really no good reason. Except my internet at home isn't really working. And I don't really have anything to say. So here are some non-newsworthy items.

1. I got a new dry cleaner. They seem nice.

And that's pretty much all I got.

(crickets chirping)

Anybody got any suggestions?

We've had some primaries ... how about political commentary? I know you aren't afraid of alienating your readers with your opinions.

The way the media fell all over itself to play up the big story this week - the Supreme Court voter rights case from Indiana.

You mean to tell me there are NO Loud Talkers on the Red or Brown Line lately?? Is that what you're trying to tell us? You haven't overheard, "BECAUSE I WAS LIKE, 'OH, THAT OUTFIT SHE'S WEARING IS SO SKANK,' AND SHE WAS LIKE, 'BITCH, SHUT YO MOUTH!,' AND I WAS LIKE, 'HAHAHAHAHAHA ... WHAT? HELLO? HELLO? OH, I MUST HAVE LOST THE CONNECTION. SO, I WAS LIKE ...'"

Have I refreshed your recollection sufficiently? Or should I continue?

Oh, yeah, and ... aren't you the one that says she watches everything having to do with Law & Order? Any comments about the latest cast additions to the show? What do you think about Jack McCoy as the District Attorney to replace Fred Thompson? Who do you think is cuter, Alana De La Garza as Assistant D.A. Connie Rubirosa, or Linus Roache as Executive Assist. D. A. Michael Cutter? And what about last night's episode, about the test for the gay gene? (I kid you not, and if you were watching Grace, you know I'm serious).

Lindsay Lohan's incessant wearing of leggings? The freakish weather patterns in the United States? The CTA Doomsday that never comes but forces us to listen to the same horrible message over and over again to contact our state representatives? My glorious new Cole Haan boots? All of these are acceptable topics in my opinion.
